| Obituaries | March 3, 2016

A beloved mother and grandmother, Judy R. Miller lost her life from complications arising from her battle with cancer. She was strong in her fight, as well as throughout her life. Born in Oakdale, Calif., Judy eventually moved to Canoga Park, Calif. and graduated from Canoga Park High School. She remained nearby, raising her family primarily in Northridge. In her later years, she went to work for the United States Postal Service in Van Nuys, before transferring to a facility in Valencia and retiring around 2000. At this time, she met Mott Miller, and was married soon afterwards. Mott predeceased Judy in 2004. Judy is survived by her faithful companion, Barney; her sister, Mary Freeman; her five children, Cynthia Letham, Nancy Morgan, Jeffrey Davis (Laura), Ronald Davis (Gia), and Toni Rex (Bob); as well as 15 grandchildren (You know who you are). She will be laid to rest at Eternal Valley in Santa Clarita on Friday, March 4 at 10 a.m.
