By Their Fruits You Will Know Them

| Opinion | February 13, 2020

In the aftermath of the two-year investigation, the six-month investigation and the president’s State of the Union address, it is time to reflect on the results.

The facts have been hashed and rehashed ad infinitum. No carefully structured argument will change any of the readers’ minds. Since the inauguration, it was never about the facts. It has been about feelings, communication style, personalities, political agenda and most importantly, power. Facts have been created and distorted to achieve an end. Those who claim it was a search for truth are deceiving you. Accusers who claim it was about protecting the Constitution are deceiving you. Those who claim they were making the charges to protect the people of the United States are deceiving you. And truthfully, those saying the president was perfect are deceiving you. Humans are not perfect. President Trump is a human. Therefore, President Trump is not perfect. None of us are.

For three long years President Trump has been under attack by our elected Democrats and their right arm, the mainstream media. In so doing, it is the left that has worked hard to split our nation apart. When the president reacted, he was accused of being divisive. How dare he defend himself! When the president took a victory lap, the Dems’ heads exploded.

I believe that their relentless efforts have damaged the accusers. Over the years I have observed the leftist Democrats looking more and more distressed. It is as if they are consumed by a dark force. They lack empathy. They have sought to destroy two fine men who are now seated at the Supreme Court. They have attacked the President’s family. They have become incompetent, just look at Iowa. A sickness has overcome their spirit. They have ceased having the people’s interest at heart.
Matthew 7:15-20 reminds us on how to know them:

15. “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? 17. Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.”

Our elected elite Democrats have failed in Russia, Russia, Russia. They have failed in Impeachment. They have failed to put up any presidential candidates who support our founding principles. They have failed to serve the American people. The fruits of their labor have proven to come from a poisonous tree. They are lost souls. We know them by their bitter fruits.

I truly hope that our Democrat friends will be able to cast off those lost souls they have put into office and focus on candidates who will build our nation up and not tear it down.

Even though the fruits of President Trump’s labor are abhorrent to the leftist Democrats, those fruits have proven to be good. Economically all classes, races and genders have been lifted. Prosperity is a sweet fruit indeed.

Just for fun, and with apologies to Stephen Sondheim and Sweeney Todd.

Attend the tale of Dem Demigods
They served a dark and a vengeful god
What happened then, well, that’s the play
And they wouldn’t want us to give it away
Not Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff
The demon Senators of Capitol Hill
