A Six Flags Magic Mountain ride operator was charged with vandalism last week. Also, two security guards made the blotter this week. A 31-year-old from Saugus allegedly made criminal threats, and a 23-year-old from Pasadena was charged with resisting an officer, as was a 24-year-old Canyon Country man.

An 18-year-old unemployed Canyon Country man was brought up on charges of carrying a concealed dirk or dagger. And a 39-year-old Santa Clarita barber was arrested for cruelty to a child likely to produce great bodily injury/death.

A retired 61-year-old Canyon Country man was charged with battery on a non-cohabitating former spouse and a 28-year-old metal presser from Newhall were brought up on charges of battery against a former spouse.

34-year-old construction worker from Acton
23-year-old assistant from Canyon Country
29-year-old administrator from Canyon Country
25-year-old shift leader from Castaic
59-year-old unemployed Newhall woman
19-year-old dishwasher from Pasadena
24-year-old painter from Winnetka
38-year-old restaurant worker from Newhall
49-year-old student from Morgan Hill, Calif.
27-year-old dental assistant from Newhall
39-year-old unemployed Palmdale man
26-year-old student from Valencia
39-year-old foreman from Bakersfield
59-year-old Santa Clarita man who does contract design
50-year-old physical therapist from Castaic

Both an Earlimart couple and a 23-year-old mechanic from Yakima, Wash. were charged with transporting/etc./concealing /etc. gains from a controlled substance.

29-year-old Santa Clarita pool man
20-year-old unemployed Santa Clarita man
33-year-old bookkeeper from Fallbrook
42-year-old self-employed Saugus man

A couple from Newhall – a 29-year-old medical assembler and a 27-year-old cashier – allegedly committed burglary last week. Two Canyon Country men were also brought up on charges of burglary – a 26-year-old roofer and an unemployed 18-year-old.

An 18-year-old Stevenson Ranch man was charged with theft of personal property, and a 32-year-old Val Verde man was charged with receiving known stolen property.
