This week, a 25-year-old mechanic from Bakersfield was arrested for resisting an officer. And a 39-year-old electrician from Littlerock was charged with taking a vehicle without consent from the owner.

A 28-year-old roofer from Newhall was arrested for murder.

A 28-year-old stripper from Sherman Oaks was arrested for identity theft.

A 23-year-old Saugus resident was arrested for assaulted likely to produce great bodily injury. And a 31-year-old real estate agent was charged with burglary.

There were several individuals brought up on charges related to possession of a controlled substance, including the following:

A 33-year-old Chef from Los Angeles was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
A 31-year-old custodian from Saugus was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sale.
A 34-year-old Palmdale resident was charged with being under the influence of a controlled substance.
An unemployed 33-year-old Canyon Country resident was booked for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Both a mill worker and roofer from Ukiah, both in their thirties, were arrested for the possession of a controlled substance while armed with a loaded firearm.
A 26-year-old clerk from Stevenson Ranch was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
A 54-year-old construction worker from Newhall was arrested for the possession of a controlled substance while armed with a loaded firearm.
A 22-year-old janitor from North Hills was charged with a device/instrument/paraphernalia.

Charges of driving under the influence (with prior arrests) went to:
24-year-old self-employed Canyon Country resident
60-year-old painter from Castaic
25-year-old North Hollywood resident
60-year-old unemployed Sylmar resident
