This week, a 50-year-old concrete worker was charged with possessing false license plates. And a 30-year-old unemployed Newhall resident was booked for possessing illegal tear gas while convicted of a specific felony.

A 31-year-old unemployed Ferndale resident was arrested for attempted murder. A 46-year-old landscaper was issued a parole warrant.

A 24-year-old painter from Val Verde and a 23-year-old unemployed Newhall resident were arrested for corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant/etc. A 33-year-old unemployed Palmdale resident was arrested for stalking.

A 27-year-old unemployed Canyon Country resident was arrested for resisting an officer.
