A 53-year-old Lockheed Martin employee from Victorville was charged with cruelty to a child likely to produce great bodily injury/death. A 34-year-old customer service agent from Canyon Country was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, not a firearm, with great bodily injury. And a 27-year-old Canyon Country woman who works in public relations was charged with battery against a former spouse.

Three Sacramento residents were arrested for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon/addict, etc. The three men were: a 39-year-old roofer, a 21-year-old warehouse worker and a 24-year-old homemaker.

A 33-year-old farmer from Mendota, Calif. was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle.

A 32-year-old manager from Castaic was charged with manufacturing/selling/giving/lending/possessing any nunchuks. And a 21-year-old plumber from North Hollywood was arrested for manufacturing/selling/giving/lending/possessing leaded cane, etc.

An unemployed 21-year-old Van Nuys man was arrested for burglary. A 31-year-old cook from Agua Dulce was brought in for attempted robbery. Also, an unemployed 34-year-old Encino woman was brought in for theft of personal property.

An unemployed 20-year-old Santa Clarita man was cited for refusing to leave a property upon request by a police officer. And an unemployed 18-year-old Newhall man was cited for vandalism with loss valued at $5,000-$50,000.

A 24-year-old mechanic from Fresno was picked up for manufacturing a controlled substance.

25-year-old electrician from Newhall

25-year-old cook from Newhall
27-year-old stylist from Newhall
46-year-old gardener from North Hollywood
40-year-old product builder from Valencia
33-year-old supervisor from Castaic

Neighborhood

Valencia
A petty theft was reported on March 10 at 2:20 p.m. on the 24200 block of W. Valencia Blvd.

Saugus
A burglary was called in from the 23800 block of Copperhill Drive on March 11 at 3:15 a.m.

Newhall
An assault was reported on March 11 at 1:35 a.m. on the 25800 block of Railroad Avenue.

Canyon Country
A petty theft report came in on March 9 at 1:45 p.m. on the 18400 block of Jakes Way.

Castaic
Two burglaries were reported on the 31700 block of Castaic Road on March 10 — one at 1:53 a.m. and another at 3:32 a.m.

Santa Clarita
A robbery was alleged on March 8 at 2 p.m. on the 19300 block of Golden Valley Road.

Stevenson Ranch
A theft was reported on the 25400 block of The Old Road on March 9 at 9:30 p.m. and March 10 at 8:16 p.m.
