Petty theft from an auto was reported April 5 on the 28900 block of Mirada Circulo at 3:17 a.m. Another petty theft was called in from the 28000 block of Newhall Ranch Road at 3:30 p.m. the same day.

An attempted vehicle burglary was alleged on April 7 at 6:30 a.m. from the 23100 block of Napa Drive. On April 8, a petty theft was reported at 2:00 a.m. on the 26500 block of Caribou Court.

Canyon Country
A robbery with a weapon was reported on April 7 at 6:48 p.m. from the 19300 block of Golden Valley Road. On April 8, criminal homicide was alleged on the 18700 block of Vista Del Canon at 5:45 p.m. Vehicle grand theft was reported on April 10 at 1:00 a.m. on the 26100 block of Abdale Street.

Shoplifting was reported on April 7 from the 23000 block of Lyons Avenue at 9:30 p.m. Another report of shoplifting was alleged on the 24300 block of Main Street on April 8 at 5:25 p.m.

Aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon was alleged on April 4 at 11:30 a.m. on the 31500 block of Castaic Road.


Santa Clarita
A petty theft was called in on April 2 at 11:55 p.m. from the 26300 block of Diamond Place. On April 7 at 2:15 a.m. a residential burglary was reported on the 26900 block of Flo Lane.

A 32-year-old Northridge woman who works as a personal assistant was picked up for possession of a narcotic/drug/alcohol/drug paraphernalia in jail.

25-year-old unemployed Canyon Country woman
57-year-old programmer from Saugus
20-year-old unemployed Saugus man
24-year-old student from Valencia

An unemployed 27-year-old Stevenson Ranch woman was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, with great bodily injury.

A 33-year-old therapist from Canyon Country and a 31-year-old Canyon Country woman were arrested for corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant. A 24-year-old Saugus woman who works in internet sales was arrested for battery against a former spouse. Also, a 30-year-old caregiver from Newhall was arrested for cruelty to a child likely to produce great bodily injury/death.

A 28-year-old driver from Canyon Country was brought up on charges of defacing/damaging property with a value less than $400.

A self-employed 24-year-old Van Nuys man was arrested for grand theft of money/property greater than $400 in value. An unemployed 36-year-old Valencia man was charged with theft of personal property.

A 22-year-old Saugus man who works as a laborer was cited for shoplifting after a specified prior conviction. A 51-year-old prop maker from Sun Valley was picked up for receiving known stolen property.

A 31-year-old housekeeper from Anaheim was picked up for taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent.

A 35-year-old sales manager from Stevenson Ranch was charged with reckless driving with injury.

24-year-old Castaic man who works in entertainment
50-year-old Stevenson Ranch man who refused to give his occupation
23-year-old car salesman from Castaic
22-year-old L.A. man who works in fast food
23-year-old aviation electrician from San Diego
