In the Neighborhood

Valencia

Grand theft from a building/church/school/restaurant/office, etc. allegedly occurred on the 24000 block of Newhall Ranch Road on April 11 at 10:52 p.m. On April 12 at 12:30 a.m. a vehicle burglary was reported on the 24100 block of Del Monte Drive.

Saugus

On April 11 at 12:30 a.m. a theft allegedly occurred on the 28100 block of Tamarack Lane. A theft was reported on April 11 at 11:42 p.m. on the 28100 block of Robin Ave.

Canyon Country

Grand theft from a boat, plane, private residence, yard, etc. was alleged on April 11 at 12 a.m. on the 16300 block of Lost Canyon Road. And on April 12 at 9:14 a.m. a petty theft was reported on the 16400 block of Delone Avenue.

Newhall

On April 11 at 8:30 p.m. a vehicle burglary was reported on the 23200 block of Lyons Ave. A theft allegedly occurred near Cherry St. and Peachland Ave. on April 12 at 2:15 a.m.

Castaic

An assault allegedly occurred on the 31600 block of Castaic Road on April 11 at 8 p.m. A burglary was reported on April 12 at 11:45 a.m. on the 27700 block of Church St.

Santa Clarita

An aggravated assault was reported on April 11 at 8:40 p.m. on the 26800 block of Isabella Pkwy. A petty theft allegedly occurred on April 12 at 8:52 p.m. on the 26500 block of Carl Boyer Drive.

Stevenson Ranch

An assault allegedly occurred on April 11 at 8 a.m. on the 25300 block of Silver Aspen Way. And a vehicle burglary was reported on April 12 at 9:26 p.m. on the 24900 block of Pico Canyon Road.

Bad Boys & Girls

A 47-year-old and a 50-year-old from Saugus — one employed by the sheriff’s department and the other by the fire department — were brought in for battery against a former spouse. Also, an unemployed 28-year-old Canyon Country man and an unemployed 28-year-old Hawthorne man were brought up on the same charges.

Also, a 41-year-old tile setter from Coos Bay, Ore., a 40-year-old lunch lady from Canyon Country, a 26-year-old construction worker from Sun Valley and a 39-year-old maid from Hawthorne, Calif. were each charged with corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant. The same charges were brought against a 42-year-old retail worker from Gorman and a Canyon Country couple — a 40-year-old salesman and a 43-year-old accountant.

A 47-year-old printer from Saugus was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, with a firearm.

51-year-old unemployed Castaic man was arrested for arson of a structure or forest land.

A 23-year-old construction worker from Los Angeles was arrested for grand theft of money/property greater than $400.

A 32-year-old field worker from Madera and a 34-year-old construction worker from Moreno Valley were picked up for possession of marijuana for sale. A 23-year-old construction worker from Castaic and an unemployed 40-year-old Palmdale woman were picked up for possession/purchase of a controlled substance.

A 22-year-old customer rep from Canyon Country was cited for driving with a license that was suspended/revoked for drugs/alcohol.

19-year-old cook from Palmdale

50-year-old paralegal from Las Vegas

24-year-old worker from Northridge

20-year-old actor from Newhall

33-year-old waitress from Acton

22-year-old construction worker from Castaic

37-year-old file clerk from Santa Clarita

25-year-old cook from Newhall

21-year-old unemployed Rosemead female

28-year-old technician from Canyon Country

25-year-old maintenance worker from North Hollywood

40-year-old drafter from Santa Clarita

32-year-old gardener from Littlerock, Calif.
