Castaic
A petty theft was reported on the 30300 block of Yosemite Drive on Jan. 14 at 12:45 p.m. An alleged grand theft occurred on Jan. 16 at 8:52 p.m. on the 31400 block of Castaic Road.

Newhall
A burglary was reported on Jan. 20 at 4:52 a.m. on the 24200 block of Main Street. A robbery was alleged on Jan. 21 at 6:15 p.m. near Newhall Ave. and Valle Del Oro. A theft was reported on Jan. 22 at 6:07 p.m. on the 25000 block of Walnut Street.

Canyon Country
On Jan. 21 at 2:30 a.m. a burglary was reported on the 19400 block of Soledad Canyon Road. And another burglary was called in twice from the 26800 block of Oak Ave. on Jan. 22 – at 3:15 a.m. and 4 a.m.

Saugus
A petty theft was alleged on Jan. 19 at 8:30 p.m. on the 26500 block of Bouquet Canyon Road. A burglary was reported on the 26100 block of Bouquet Canyon Road on Jan. 24 at 1:17 a.m.

Stevenson Ranch
A robbery and a burglary were reported on Jan. 18. One was reported at 8:30 a.m. from the 24900 block of Constitution Ave. and the other allegedly occurred on the 25600 block of The Old Road at 8:25 p.m.

Santa Clarita
On Jan. 18 at 10:20 a.m. a theft was reported on the 26400 block of Carl Boyer Drive. An assault was reported two days in a row – one on Jan. 20 at 3:05 p.m. on the 21500 block of Centre Pointe Pkwy and another on the 26200 block of Prima Way on Jan. 21 at 7 p.m.

Valencia
A theft was reported on Jan. 18 at 2 a.m. on the 28100 block of Angelica Place. Vehicle grand theft was reported on Jan. 19 at 9:14 a.m. on the 23600 block of Wiley Canyon Road. On Jan. 21 at 6:50 p.m. a robbery was reported on the 20400 block of Valencia Blvd.

Police Blotter

A 25-year-old self-employed Sylmar man was arrested for sexual battery, touching an intimate part of another.

A 24-year-old transient was charged with cutting down/destroying/injuring standing timber.

A 48-year-old Valencia woman who works in animal services was charged with refusing to leave a public building. And an unemployed 41-year-old Valencia woman and a 28-year-old day laborer from Santa Clarita were cited for unauthorized entry into a non-commercial dwelling.

A 37-year-old actor from Canyon Country was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, with a firearm. A 49-year-old unemployed Castaic man was picked up for illegal possession of ammunition.

A Canyon Country couple – a 26-year-old waitress and a 34-year-old welder – were both charged with corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant. A 26-year-old dispatcher from Pacoima was arrested for cruelty to a child likely to produce great bodily injury/death. A 39-year-old homemaker and a 41-year-old self-employed man from Canyon Country were arrested for battery against a former spouse.

A 50-year-old maintenance man from Val Verde was arrested for taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent. An unemployed 25-year-old Canyon Country man was charged with theft from a vehicle. And a 25-year-old construction worker from Newhall was charged with theft of personal property.

A 33-year-old producer from Sherman Oaks was charged with transporting/concealing gains from a controlled substance.

46-year-old disabled Canyon Country man
44-year-old Newhall man who works in security
