After the Washington Nationals come-from-behind 4-3 win against the Milwaukee Brewers in the Nationals League Wild Card Game on Tuesday the Nationals League Division Series is set to begin on Thursday at 5:37 p.m.
The Los Angeles Dodgers head into the postseason at the seven-time defending NL Champions after finishing with the NL’s and a franchise best 106 games.
The Dodgers were lethal throughout the year on offense scoring the most runs (886) while being just as stingy on defense allowing (613) to end with a run differential of plus 273.
This will come in handy when they face Washingtons’ equally impressive starting pitching rotation, Max Scherzer, Stephen Strasbourg and Patrick Corbin.
The trio have combined to pitch 583.1 innings, struck out 732 batters and earned 43 wins throughout the season.
Dodgers’ Cody Bellinger heads up a nightmare induced lineup that has hit 279 home runs on the season with Bellinger (47), Joc Pederson (36), Max Muncy (35) and Justin Turner (27) all hitting 25 or more home runs.
Things look good for the Dodgers who pulled out four of seven wins from the visitors this season.
